I'm a very non-professional photographer who loves taking pictures of the natural beauty that I see around me.

In my day job, I'm a high school science teacher.

I'm also a husband and the father of five children, and my family, especially my wife, is very patient with my desire to go for walks or drives with a camera at seemingly random, and probably inconvenient, times.  My eldest daughter Melissa is my most faithful photography companion, and deserves the credit for taking the photo of me at the top of this page.

While there certainly is skill involved in taking good photos, or at least decent equipment and the technical ability to use it, the beauty that I've attempted to share here isn't my work.  That credit belongs solely to the Creator whose handiwork it is, and who sustains and upholds it and us with his providence.

Soli Deo Gloria
